Install SimpleX Chat on Ubuntu 22.04 :

$ cd Downloads/

Download Deb package :

$ wget -c https://github.com/simplex-chat/simplex-chat/releases/download/v5.4.2/simplex-desktop-ubuntu-22_04-x86_64.deb

give permission :

$ sudo chmod +x simplex-desktop-ubuntu-22_04-x86_64.deb

Finally, install SimpleX Chat in your Ubuntu system and press Ctrl + Alt + T on keyboard to open terminal, and run command:

$ sudo dpkg --install simplex-desktop-ubuntu-22_04-x86_64.deb

How to Run SimpleX Chat on Ubuntu 24.04 Noble Numbat via AppImage ?

Download appimage package :

$ wget -c https://github.com/simplex-chat/simplex-chat/releases/download/v5.4.2/simplex-desktop-x86_64.AppImage

Give permission : 

$ sudo chmod +x simplex-desktop-x86_64.AppImage

Run the appimage :

$ cd sudo ./simplex-desktop-x86_64.AppImage
