HeliumOS 1.0 - New Linux Distribution based OS inspired by immutable-style distributions

 

HeliumOS, a new Linux-based operating system inspired by immutable-style distributions. HeliumOS aims to provide reliability and user-friendliness for its users.

Installation of Flatpak-packaged apps is provided through the Discover software center and Debian-packaged software through the Synaptic graphical interface. Our goal for HeliumOS is to provide a reliable and user-friendly system using BTRFS snapshots, a stable Debian base, and a small selection of useful applications.

HeliumOS 1.0 is released. As an alpha release, HeliumOS 1.0 Alpha1 may be prone to additional problems. Please wait until a stable release before installing on important devices. Stable releases will be downloadable from Downloads if available
