Install FairyWren Icon theme on Linux Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora and Others

A modernized take on icons a little inspired by the move to more gradient stylings in other packs while keeping the material feel

still a work in progress releasing updates each month

How to : Install FairyWren Icon theme on Linux Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora and Others ?

For installation icon, open terminal and follow this command :

Change to Download Folder 

$ cd Downloads/

Download FairyWren Icon theme Package using wget command and run :

$ wget -c https://gitlab.com/aiyahm/FairyWren-Icons/-/archive/main/FairyWren-Icons-main.zip

Give permission to user :

$ sudo chmod +x FairyWren-Icons-main.zip 

Extract the file :

$ sudo unzip FairyWren-Icons-main.zip 

After extract file, Change to icon directory :

$ cd FairyWren-Icons-main/

Move FairyWren folder to /usr/share/icons/ :

$ sudo mv FairyWren /usr/share/icons/

After moving is completed, open gnome tweak to change icon :
